For those into higher impact sports, Vermont’s many waterways and lakes are perfect for kayaking, canoeing, sailboarding, scuba diving, fishing, or leisurely tube rides. But nature isn’t the only splendid attraction in Vermont. It’s also a great place for concerts that attract popular performers to its intimate, small venues. Vermont ski lodges and nearby clubs are also great places to catch both established and up and coming musicians. On a different note, Revolutionary War buffs will also love Hubbarton Battlefield and Bennington Battle Monument. And after all of the activities, don’t forget to wake up early, catch the sunrise, and have nice big stack of pancakes, with a healthy helping of pure Vermont maple syrup.
